Department of Neurology

History

Department of Neurology was started in 1995.

DM – Neurology PG Course was started in 2019-20 year with annual intake of 2 students.

Department has EEG, Video EEG, Polysomnography, ENMG, Transcranial Doppler, USG hematoma detector, CT SCAN, MRI SCAN facilities. 24*7 Stroke thrombolysis with IV tpa and Hybrid ICU care with more than 30 thrombolysis cases/year

Allied departments like Neurosurgery, Psychiatry are available in the campus.

Department has 10 faculty members and other paramedical staff.

• Provide an educational program that helps prepare our students for any residency they may choose as part of the general professional education.
• Prepare students to be exemplary house officers Acquisition of the clinical application of basic knowledge of the nervous system.
• Development of communication skills that will facilitate the clinical interaction with patients with neurologic disorders and their families and thus ensure that complete, accurate data are obtained.
