Department of Nephrology

The Department of Nephrology of Govt. Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College Hospital was started in the old building with 8 beds in wards and 4 beds in dialysis unit at Govt. Hospital in the year 1986. The department is now functioning in the PMSSY Super Specialty Block (3rd Floor). The department has facilities for performing Peritoneal Dialysis, Hemodialysis, CRRT, CAPD, Renal Transplantation, Renal Biopsy and Membrane Plasma Exchange.
